The Spring collections have arrived in a flurry of bright colours, statement prints and clean, simple lines - and all are on offer at the Darcey stores in Lewes and Heathfield! The styling for this season is certainly very relaxed with lots of layering and unstructured tailoring and a truly eclectic mix of textures and fabrics from linen and cashmere to silk and sheer. The Cut Loose linen collection stocked at Darcey is a great example of this and contains separates in wonderful floral prints with vivid splashes of fuchsia, lime and purple alongside some fluid and flattering jackets in soft neutral shades. Stripes reign supreme this season and this is the signature look of the French brand Armor-Lux offering some wonderful Breton cotton tops which work well with casual layering pieces from Adini and Seasalt. For a more feminine look you might want to try some of the soft floral print tunics from Sandwich, Masai or Myrine & Me worn over slim-fit trousers, or a fabulous maxi dress in eye-catching shades of pink or blue. New for this season are the gorgeous 'wedding guest' occasion wear dresses, some with jackets and shrugs, from Michaela Louisa. They are truly wearable, incredibly elegant and very affordable – and perfect for Goodwood, Glyndebourne or that summer wedding!
